Lifetime Guarantee – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the True Carat Lifetime Guarantee on all eligible lab-grown diamond jewellery purchased directly from True Carat (www.truecarat.com.au).

1. Coverage

The Lifetime Guarantee covers:

• Authenticity of the lab-grown diamond.

• Structural integrity, including resistance to chipping under normal wear.

• Manufacturing defects related to the diamond’s growth, cutting, or polishing.

• Lifetime brilliance retention under normal conditions of use.

2. Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover:

• Damage caused by accidents, impact, crushing, misuse, exposure to extreme heat/chemicals, or unauthorised repairs.

• Loss or theft of the diamond or jewellery piece.

• Wear and tear affecting the metal setting (prongs, clasps, ring bands).

• Stones that have been modified after purchase (e.g., re-cutting, re-polishing, laser work not performed by True Carat).

3. Verification Process

To make a claim, customers must provide:

> Proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

> Clear photos or videos of the issue.

> Physical inspection may be required before approval.

> Certification  provided when purchasing matching  the diamond inscription

True Carat reserves the right to determine whether the claim qualifies under these Terms.

4. Remedy

If the claim is approved, True Carat will, at its discretion:

• Repair the diamond,
  OR

• Replace the diamond with one of equal value, size, and quality.

No cash refunds are issued under the Lifetime Guarantee.

5. Void Conditions

The guarantee becomes void if:

• The jewellery has been altered or repaired by any party other than True Carat.

• The diamond has been subjected to abnormal or excessive force.

• The customer fails to provide adequate evidence for assessment including the certification matching the inscription on the diamond

6. Australian Consumer Law

This Lifetime Guarantee operates in addition to all rights and remedies provided under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
