Our pieces are designed to last a lifetime and beyond, symbolizing enduring love and brilliance. However, like all fine diamond jewelry, gentle care is essential. Daily wear, exposure to chemicals, or contact with hard surfaces may naturally affect your piece over time. With proper care and maintenance, your True Carat jewelry will continue to shine with the same brilliance and integrity as the day you received it.

Important Note:

  • The purchase of a Warranty Package only applies to ONE ITEM. For coverage of additional items, an additional Warranty must be purchased.
  • Theft or loss of your entire ring is NOT covered by any of our warranties; a TRUE CARAT Warranty is not insurance. We recommend insuring your jewelry through a trusted insurance provider for additional protection of your investment.

Manufacturer Warranty (Basic) – Free with every purchase

All our pieces are covered by a lifetime Manufacturer Warranty. We guarantee that all our pieces are free from manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product. If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing defect, you may return it for inspection.

  • If we confirm a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.
  • If the item is no longer available, we will replace it with a like-kind item or provide a refund equal to the original purchase price.
  • If the issue is not due to a manufacturing defect, repair services will be available at cost, and we will notify you before proceeding.
  • Most items are covered by our FREE 15-Day Return Policy if you wish to return your item instead.

What’s Covered?

  • Manufacturing Defects

  • One Ring Resizing
    We offer one FREE complimentary ring resizing within the first year of purchase. Additional resizing will incur a $80 fee for gold rings and $100 for platinum rings.
  • NOTE: Eternity rings and certain delicate styles may require a full remake and cannot be resized traditionally.

What’s NOT Covered?

  • Normal wear and tear: Including prong wear, stone loss, or bent settings.
  • Accidental Damage: Improper handling, accidents, or exposure to harsh chemicals.
  • Additional Resizes or resizing after the first year
  • Lost or fallen stones: Repairs can be done at a cost
  • Cleaning and inspections: Can be done at a cost
  • Rhodium re-plating, re-finishing, and polishing
  • Theft, loss, or damage from outside repairs or modifications: A TRUE CARAT warranty is not insurance; we recommend insuring your jewelry through a trusted insurance provider.
  • You are responsible for shipping your jewelry to us, and must also cover the return shipping.
  • International customers: Additional fees may apply for return shipping.

3-Year Warranty – One-Time Payment of $500

    We include free professional cleaning and inspection services every six months during your 3-year warranty. We recommend these inspections to ensure your prongs and settings remain secure, reducing the risk of stone loss.
  • Additional repairs needed after inspection can be performed at cost.

What is NOT Covered?

  • Stone Loss
    Side and center stones can be replaced at a cost – we recommend insuring your jewelry through a trusted insurance provider.

Lifetime Warranty – One-Time Payment of $950

    Minimum purchases of AUD 3000 in a single transaction needed to qualify for Premium Club Membership and life time Upgrade* Applies only to certified ,True Carat diamonds and fine jewellery purchased directly from True Carat with proper certification.

Exclusions & Safeguards

  • Does not apply to custom design ring setting diamond, damaged stones, or uncertified diamonds.
  • Additional costs for resizing, new settings, or delivery beyond the covered upgrade will be quoted separately.
  • True Carat reserves the right to assess the diamond’s condition before confirming eligibility.
  • Ring settings are excluded from valuation in the upgrade program.
  • Credit is calculated based on the prevailing market price of the original certified stone/s (only)at the time of upgrade, not the total purchase price.

Important notes to consider

  • Be accompanied by the original certification (IGI/GIA only)
  • Be in saleable condition (free from chips, scratches, abrasions, or discoloration).
  • Life time Upgrade * – Our Lifetime Diamond Upgrade Program has been designed to give you complete flexibility as your journey in life evolves:
  • You can upgrade your certified TC diamond to one with double the carat weight (or more) i.e 2x at any time in the future.
  • The current market value of your original certified diamond will be used as a credit ( minus the taxes towards the price of your new stone.
  • For example, if you purchased a 1.0ct certified solitaire diamond, you may upgrade it to a 2.0ct solitaire, or even choose a halo or other style featuring a larger centre stone.
  • In the event of agreement the 1.0 ct with its Certification has to be returned with the loose diamond Stone only.In event of the New 2.0 carat Diamond not fitting in the old setting you may send it along with the Diamond upon agreeing to pay the difference between old and new ring.
  • Your package should be sent via a reputed courier or package service provider ,insured, to our office ( customer pays) and when the ring/ your order is ready we will send it on our account.
  • This is our way of ensuring your diamond investment continues to grow alongside life’s important milestones.

Important Information

  • The upgrade credit applies to the diamond only and excludes settings, colored gemstones, and jewelry pieces.
  • Taxes, shipping, and duties will apply to the full retail price of the new diamond before your credit is applied.
  • Some settings may need to be remade to fit larger stones.This will be quoted prior and will be charged extra
  • Active promotions or discounts cannot be applied to Upgrade orders.
  • Once an upgraded diamond has been purchased and set, it becomes final sale and is not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Diamonds must be accompanied with True Carat certification.
  • True Carat will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any nature arising from the use of rewards, program participation, or the inability to access benefits, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
  • True Carat always acts in good faith to ensure all members receive clear, fair, and valuable service. In the event of any dispute, True Carat will reassess, and its decision will be final.

2) Program Modifications

  • a) True Carat may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • b) Any changes will be updated on www.truecarat.com.au; continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3) Privacy & Data Protection

  • a) Personal data collected through the Program is handled in accordance with the True Carat Privacy Policy.
  • b) True Carat does not share for commercial gain to third parties or sell member data to third parties for marketing purposes.
  • c) By joining the True Carat Premier of Privilege Club, members consent to receiving communications from True Carat, including promotional updates, exclusive offers, and new collection announcements. These emails are sent solely by True Carat and may be opted out of at any time using the unsubscribe option or email us on cs@truecarat.com.au

4) Data Security and GDPR / Privacy Reinforcement)

  • e)True Carat implements industry-standard encryption and data protection measures to safeguard member information.
  • f) Our data handling practices comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and align with GDPR principles for international customers.

5) Handling Returns and Adjustments

If a purchase is returned, refunded, or cancelled, any benefits earned from that transaction will be deducted from the member’s Premier Club benefits b

6) Fraud or Misuse Clause

Fraudulent activity includes, but is not limited to, creating multiple accounts, resale of member rewards, or false claims. True Carat reserves the right to audit accounts and adjust or cancel points accordingly.

7) Legal Limitation & Liability

True Carat will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any nature arising from the use of rewards, program participation, or the inability to access benefits, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.

8) “Program Benefits Are Subject to Availability”

Some benefits, events, or offers may be available for a limited time or in limited quantities. True Carat reserves the right to modify or substitute benefits at its discretion.
